The Poppies Wave

Book your stay and see the iconic Wave of Poppies, they are spectacular by day and breathtaking by night.
The poppies have been installed at the Naval Memorial on Plymouth Hoe. The Wave - a sweeping red arch of steel poppies were originally built by a team at Plymouth's Theatre Royal and formed part of the installation "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red" that was displayed at the Tower of London in 2014. 888,246 poppies were displayed - one for every British or Colonial life lost at the Front during the First World War.
You can witness the emotional Last Post ceremony at the installation every Friday at 6PM.
