Dartmoor Zoo is just 15 minutes on the outskirts of Plymouth and is a charity that is responsible for the care of the animal collection as well as conservation, breeding and research projects. The zoo has an array of animals and allows to you to get particularly close to the big cats (lions, tigers) meerkats, otters and more.
